The Retirees Group was founded in 2010 and the purpose of the group is for retired members to strengthen the Credit Union by coming together and share experiences. It is also an avenue that retired members are kept informed of what is taking place at the Credit Union and at their former workplace the Government Printery.
For the past seven years, meeting are kept on the first Thursday of every month. At these meeting members of the group Birthdays are celebrated and correspondences such as donations to worthy charities are considered.
Field Trip - On the last Thursday of every month a field trip is plan by the group to visit different places in Trinidad and Tobago. Once a year an overseas trip is also organised.
One of the major fun-raiser for the group is the “After Work Lime” for the Carnival Season. It is usually held three weeks before the Carnival week.
